This course will be to increase the participant’s knowledge of wellcementing services & to help them understand service specifictechnical design and operational considerations. This will empower participants with the skills and knowledge to better understand, utilize,or supervise cementing operations. Emphasis will be given on ,Cement additives Laboratory testing methods , Blending,Mixing equipment, Primary & Remedial cementing, Plug cementing
Trainees will learn how to How to:
Design cement slurries using API and/or field adapted procedures 2) Use cement additives in designing cement slurries to improve job success 3) Design cement jobs to include casing, multistage, liner, and tieback strings 4) Design and perform remedial (squeeze) cement jobs to include selection of tools 5) Design cement plug slurries and selection of tools to improve overall job success
